Ramon Lyles writes nonfiction and fiction that refuse to flinch. His work is patient, plain-spoken, and unwilling to trade truth for tone. He writes for the reader who is tired of noise and still wants to be told the truth.
His debut, The Weight He Carries: The Plight of the Black Man in America, is a patient reckoning with a burden often carried in silence. His follow-up project, Two Christianities, is a chapter by chapter contrast between what the Bible says and what Conservative American Christianity has come to look like. His first novel, Under the Purple Umbrella, is a love story set in the Veneto region of northern Italy.
Ramon writes from Atlanta, Georgia. New titles are released as they are finished.
